Green courses » Saving seeds in the home garden Saving Seeds in the Home Garden During this workshop you will gain an insight into why seed saving is so important to human health. You will find out the differences between hybrid and open pollinated seed, and learn how botanical names can help you. And of course you will find out how to grow plants specifically for seed, and how to collect, store and label it. The workshop takes place in a garden setting with the opportunity to see plants in various stages of setting seed.
