Homemade Rose Facial Toner
This is great for sensitive skin and to remove all cleanser from your face. Store in bottle with cap or cork. Stroke gently on face after cleansing with a cotton ball.

50mls Witch Hazel (buy at Chemist)
50mls Rose water
1 teaspoon orange flower water (buy Orange Flower teabags from health food shop)

Combine ingredients in bottle and shake well.


Blackhead Eliminator
If you suffer from blocked pores and blackheads rub a cut tomato over the affected areas, then rinse off. The tomatoes acid cleanses the skin and helps to unblock pores.


Banana Mask
Ever wondered what to do with that overripe banana. Well here is an idea.

1 ripe mashed banana
1 teaspoon milk powder
1 teaspoon fresh carrot juice.

Mix ingredients together and apply to face. Leave on for a least 15 minutes and rinse off with warm water.


Honey Dry Skin Repair
This is great for sunburned skin or dry skin.

4 tablespoons honey (manuka honey is the best)
3 tablespoons white beeswax grains (from health food shops)
4 tablespoons almond oil
1 teaspoon comfrey root powder (from health food shop)

Melt honey and almond oil in saucepan over a gentle heat, stirring constantly. Add comfrey powder and stir well. Pour into glass jars and dab onto skin.

Coffee Facial Scrub
This exfoliating paste is great for smoothing skin all over your body.

3 tablespoons used coffee grounds
2 tablespoons almond oil
1 teaspoon clear honey
½ rolled oats or powered oatmeal
1 tablespoon natural yoghurt.

Combine almond oil and honey in saucepan over a gentle heat. Stir until combined. Remove from heat. Add rolled oats, coffee grounds and yoghurt. Mix well. Apply to damp skin and use gentle circular scrubbing. Pay particular attention to feet, heels and elbows. Avoid eyes and wash off with warm water.
